Plant your bare-root catnip as soon as possible after arrival and water thoroughly. Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil and avoid keeping the roots constantly wet. Regular trimming or deadheading helps maintain a compact shape and reduces unwanted spreading. Catnip can be especially attractive to cats, so consider protecting young plants until established.
