Growing Information

Excellent drainage is essential. Plant in gritty, fast-draining soil and avoid locations where water collects around the crown or roots. Water regularly but sparingly during active growth, allowing excess moisture to drain freely. A rock garden, raised planting area, or well-drained container provides ideal conditions. Flower colors are naturally variable and cannot be guaranteed for an individual starter plant.
