About This Plant

Purple Passion asparagus is a perennial vegetable offering thick, tender purple spears with sweet flavor and high yields. This listing includes 4 live crowns shipped ready to plant and will establish into productive perennial plants that return year after year.

What You Will Receive

4 live asparagus crowns of the Purple Passion variety (Asparagus officinalis 'Purple Passion').

Care Instructions

Plant crowns in a trench 6–8 inches deep, spacing 12–18 inches apart with the roots spread out. Lightly cover with soil and gradually fill in as shoots emerge. Water regularly during establishment. Do not harvest during the first growing season to allow crowns to develop strong roots. Once established, harvest each spring for years of fresh asparagus.
